Policies

  • CHECK-IN: Is available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival, unless by prior arrangement.
  • CHECK-OUT: Is by 10 a.m. on the day of departure, unless by prior arrangement. If you require a late check-out time, a minimum fee of NZ$50 is payable until midday, or a full night's tariff if later than midday.

    Please return your key to Reception on departure. Lost or damaged keys cost NZ$50 to replace and will be charged to your account.

  • SMOKING : All of our units are smoke free. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside, away from open windows, doors, and other guests, especially children. Please place cigarette butts in the black pots provided. In the event of anyone having smoked in the unit, accommodation will be terminated immediately without reimbursement of room payment. We reserve the right to charge cleaning costs of NZ$200 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest
  • STRONG SMELLING FOOD: The cooking of strong smelling food is not permitted in our motel units in order to avoid lingering odours that may be offensive to subsequent guests. In the event of strong smelling food odours in the unit, we reserve the right to charge cleaning costs of up to NZ$200 plus recovery costs and any resulting loss of income to the registered guest.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations up to seven days before the booked date incur no fee. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in the total booked accommodation being charged. Special conditions apply to Group quotations/reservations.
  • CREDIT CARD GUARANTEES: On-line reservatons require authorisation of a credit card deposit/withdrawal. No charge will be made against the card unless the guest fails to arrive for the booked accommodation.
  • CHANGES TO BOOKINGS: Any changes to a current booking will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability of rooms. Earlier departure than the reserved date may incur an additional fee unless the motel management approve and are able to re-let the booked accommodation.
  • GENERAL: Visitors are permitted at the managements discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel and any recovery fees, will be charged to the registered guest. Visitors are asked to leave by 10.30 p.m.
  • OVERDUE ACCOUNTS: All accounts are payable on departure, unless prior arrangements have been made with management. We reserve the right to charge overdue/recovery fees on all accounts not paid by due date.
  • DISCOUNTS: From the 1st September 2011 until the 10th October 2011, we will not be accepting accommodation vouchers or offering discounts on advertised rates.
